Correction Policy

Correction Policy – ToppoTimes

At ToppoTimes, our commitment is to truth, clarity, and public trust. We believe in the power of accurate journalism and hold ourselves accountable for the content we publish. When mistakes happen—as they sometimes do—we correct them transparently and efficiently.

Our Commitment to Accuracy

ToppoTimes strives to publish well-researched, fact-based content at all times. However, should any errors come to light—whether factual, editorial, or visual—we take full responsibility and act swiftly to correct them.

How We Update Stories

Transparent Updates: When a story is revised for factual correction, added context, or improved clarity, we clearly mark it as “Updated” with a timestamp.
Prominent Correction Notices: For major corrections or factual errors that alter the essence of a report, a clear correction notice is added at the top of the article to inform our readers of what has changed.
Community Participation: We value our readers’ insights. Corrections can be suggested via email or through the “Suggest a Correction” section available at the bottom of every article.

Corrections and Clarifications

Factual Corrections: Errors found in text, headlines, images, videos, graphics, or other content formats are corrected immediately, with a brief note explaining the nature of the correction.
Clarifications: If a story is factually correct but lacks clarity or sufficient detail, we revise the language and provide a clarification to remove ambiguity or improve understanding.

Use of Editor’s Notes

When a correction involves ethical concerns or significantly impacts the core of a story, an Editor’s Note may be added to offer additional context or justification for the change. These notes are reviewed and approved by senior editorial staff.

Social Media and Reader Feedback

We also correct or retract content shared on our social platforms if inaccuracies are identified.
Errors flagged by readers in comments or messages are reviewed and addressed by our editorial engagement team.
Inaccuracy Reporting & Take-down Policy

Please Note: We do not entertain take-down requests. Instead, if a story is found to be inaccurate, we update and correct it as needed. Removal is not standard practice, as we aim to preserve journalistic transparency.

AI-Assisted Corrections

ToppoTimes leverages advanced AI tools such as ChatGPT and Google Gemini to swiftly modify and enhance published content where appropriate. This allows us to respond quickly to correction requests and ensure high editorial standards across all formats.
